Thanks to the timeless power of artistic expression, the BOLD desk was created. Continuation of the product line with a bold, timeless form. Natural oak wood catches contrasting shadows on its surface, drawing solid legs and table top surfaces. It is sculpturally minimalist, playful in form, yet sophisticated and fully functional. The subtle expression of the project is in line with the aesthetics of TAMO and refers to the minimalist table of the same name. The desk is made of solid European oak.

In Tamo, where we do the impossible every day, we turned the sea wave into a filigree chest of drawers. How did we do that? Certainly, the proximity of the sea and analyzing the waves from behind the window of our studio, helped a lot ...

However, the Wave effect was created thanks to the combination of carpentry craftsmanship and noble material. The visible, undulating rhythm of the grain of the solid wood is the effect of boards specially planed at an angle. In addition, a neat, carpentry connection of the legs with the body, at an angle of *45, adds lightness to the entire composition.

The most common task of the RTV Wave is to transfer it to other places by means of an image, which is displayed from the TVs or other screens located on it. To facilitate this task, the Wave inside is divided into two chambers - one large chamber, which will hide the equipment needed to reproduce the image and a second chamber, divided in half. In addition, on the back of the Wave there is a so-called "propeller" through which all cables can easily pass, connecting the image to the hardware.

Designer

MARCIN LASKOWSKI

He is TAMO's founder, entrepreneur and chief designer. Under his creative eye, most of the brand's products were created. Drawing creative power from traditional carpentry skills and a love of art, a unique, original collection of furniture was created. His experimental approach to form and attention to the artistic direction of the collection gives expression to the true idea of TAMO. He creates furniture characterized by a multitude of forms, seamlessly combining cultural references to, among others, Gdynia Modernism or minimalist Northern European design. Marcin's deep passion and knowledge of wood, industrial and craftsmanship runs through every aspect of his work. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.
