About TAMO
TAMO was born out of a need to create. It originated by the sea, in Gdynia, where our studio is based. We design furniture that builds a relationship with space — naturally, intuitively, with deep respect for materials. We believe that design can be both functional and emotional. We create with interiors in mind that offer room to breathe and remain relevant over time.
Design Philosophy
At the heart of every project is the human experience. We believe in the power of timeless simplicity and form-driven function. Our collections are crafted with care, rooted in craftsmanship, and made to stand the test of time — aesthetically and functionally.
Craft & Locality
All TAMO furniture is made in Poland — in family-run workshops, in collaboration with experienced craftspeople. We take pride in our local production and the closeness of our processes, allowing us full control over quality. We support local values, transparency, and integrity at every stage of production.
Natural Materials
In our projects, we work with a wide range of noble materials: solid wood, natural stone, glass, wool, metals such as aluminium — and more. We carefully select materials from responsible sources, focusing on their durability and aesthetic expression. For us, material is never a backdrop — it plays a defining role in the identity of each piece. We believe the objects that surround us should be genuine, beautiful, and full of meaning.
Collaborations
We collaborate with designers from Poland and abroad who share our values. Each design emerges through dialogue — between vision and craftsmanship, concept and technical possibility. The result is a collection of unique, author-driven objects that respond to real human needs.
